Pocket Watches and Hollywood
The pocket watch has had a starring role in many blockbuster movies throughout the decades. From Love Stories and Sci-Fi thrilliers to Shoot 'em up Westerns, the pocket watch has made an impact in Hollywood for sure.
- My all time favorite is from the classic western, A Few More Dollars starring Clint Eastwood featuring a pocket watch that an outlaw carried. The bad guy had stolen the pocket watch from one of his victims in a gun battle. He later uses it throughout the movie to listen to the chimes. When the chimes stop, it's time to kill the opponet.

The White Rabbit from Alice in Woderland always had his pocket watch with him.
In a recent episode of the modern day TV series The Outer Limits, they used a pocket watch with a hunter case to hide a time travel device.
A mysterious twelve-handed pocket watch was carried by Professor Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies.
In the Pirates of the Carribean movies, Captain Jack Sparrow carries around a compass that looks alot like a pocket watch to me.
